Hon Dr Wale Okediran is a medical doctor and former member of the Federal House of Representatives. A very experienced leader with extensive senior management and senior policy/operational expertise gained from a variety of assignments across West Africa over nearly 30 years, and more recently within international development and international trade and development.
He has particular expertise in public health and has been a consultant to many NGO’s, the federal government and multinational companies such as Ford Foundation, Save the Children, BBC, British American Tobacco, and the National Assembly in charge of the Senate Committee on Health and the House Committee on HIV, Malaria and TB.
A strategic thinker and operator, he is commercially focused with proven leadership, business planning, influencing and relationship management skills. He is chairman and member of several boards. His contributions to developing and delivering a range of major public health, WASH, environment and sustainability programmes in his previous roles have shaped the policy and operational landscapes in West Africa.
